This Block of the Month is completed using an 8″ by 12″ hoop on your embroidery machine.

You’re invited to join the Loads of Fun Block of the Month!

This brand new embroidery machine applique block of the month allows you to complete the applique stitches and piece your Flying Geese in your 8″ by 12″ hoop on your embroidery machine! You will then use your sewing machine to assemble your quilt blocks, sashing and borders.

This quilt celebrates the monthly holidays and moments we enjoy each year. Each block contains colorful motifs depicting scenes you would find in any celebration … even a sewing block! The whimsical quilt blocks are framed with colorful sashing blocks and a border filled with paper pieced flying geese.

All fabrics are Moda and Riley Blake Designs. Most fabrics are Lori Holt’s colorful basics!

This 14 Month Block of the Month includes everything you need to make the entire quilt top – even the buttons, ric rac and binding are included! You will receive a pattern with detailed instructions each month along with all of your pre-fused, laser cut applique pieces. No tracing and cutting … you are ready to start the next block each month as soon as your box arrives. Oh yeah, did we mention it comes in a super cute Loads of Fun Box each month?!

All applique pieces are pre-fused with Sulky Perfect Applique Fusible Web and laser cut to the exact shape needed which eliminates all tracing and cutting for you! Who designed this quilt?

This project is designed by Julie Love of Stitches of Love Quilting.

When will I be charged each month?

Sign up today to reserve your spot. You will be charged a $1.00 sign up today and will automatically be charged $39.99 on the 7th of each month. Your first box will ship soon after the 7th of the month following your signup date. The club renews on the 7th of each month and ships soon after. This is a 14 month program. The Loads of Fun Block of the Month and membership fee are non-cancelable. (Due to high demand, your first kit may experience a delay in shipping on the 7th of the first month after your reservation date. The rest of your renewals will ship on or soon after the 7th of each month.)

Is International shipping available?

Unfortunately, no. We've suspended our International Shipping due to extreme shipping delays and rising costs.

What size hoop do I need?

You need an 8" by 12" hoop. Smaller will not work. NO REFUNDS are given under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for digital files or memberships such as this one. A Loads of Fun 8" by 12" Embroidery Hoop Size Test File download is available for FREE so you can test your embroidery hoop and ensure you have the proper size to complete this project. How do I access my embroidery files each month?

You will receive access within your account on this website to download your embroidery files. You will simply login to your account, click on Memberships and then click on Loads of Fun Machine Embroidery Files. This page will contain your zip file for each month as well as a video tutorial. You must know how to unzip a file and load it onto your USB drive or transfer it to your embroidery machine. NO REFUNDS are given under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for digital files or memberships such as this one.

What exactly do I make on the embroidery machine each month?

You will stitch the applique for Blocks 1 - 12 completely in the hoop of your embroidery machine. You will also piece your Flying Geese in the hoop of your embroidery machine. NO REFUNDS are given under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for digital files or memberships such as this one.

Embroidery File Copyright Notice

The use of the Loads of Fun embroidery files is for your personal use only. Copyright infringements will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You may make customizations or changes to the files for your own personal use. You may not share or resell the embroidery files. No support is provided for making changes to the files or for the files after you've made changes for your personal use.

How much backing fabric is needed for the Loads of Fun Quilt?

You will need 2 yards of Wide Back Bee Plaids Homemade Denim by Lori Holt - we have this available to order. (You can also use 3 1/3 Yards of standard 42" wide fabric. We recommend Bee Plaids Farmhouse Star Denim by Riley Blake Designs.)

How will I quilt my quilt?

Great question! You will complete your entire quilt top and then you can choose to quilt your quilt on your sewing machine or longarm, hand quilt, or send your quilt to a longarm quilter. After quilting is complete, you will attach your binding and a hanging sleeve if desired. Please note, this is not a Quilt as You Go project.

Important Note

We ask that you remain a member for the duration of your selected Block of the Month or Club. We ask that you not cancel your membership as we create an entire series of boxes for your project. Your cancellation leaves us with an incomplete Block of the Month Kit or Club that we cannot sell to anyone else. The signup fee in non-refundable. Boxes cannot be returned and are non-refundable.
