EEEEKKKK! It’s time to make this not-so-spooky Halloween Quilt with your Embroidery Machine!
This popular embroidery machine applique block of the month is a collaboration between Amy Bruecken Designs and Stitches of Love. Each block is filled with a not-so-spooky member of the Boo Crew, the center is a whimsical haunted house and the quilt is finished off with a fun striped border with appliqued triangles.
This 14 Month Block of the Month includes everything you need to make the entire quilt top – even the buttons are included! You receive a pattern with a detailed instructions each month along with all of your pre-fused, laser cut applique pieces. No tracing and cutting … you are ready to start the next block each month as soon as you box arrives. Oh yeah, did we mention it comes in a super cute Boo Crew Box each month?!

All fabrics are 100% cotton quilt shop quality fabrics by Moda and Riley Blake. All applique pieces are pre-fused with Sulky Perfect Applique Fusible Web and laser cut to the exact shape needed which eliminates all tracing and cutting for you! Easily download your embroidery machine applique files each month and begin stitching as soon as your happy mail arrives!
You MUST have an 8″ by 12″ hoop for your embroidery machine. (A hoop smaller than 8″ by 12″ will NOT work. Please use this FREE Boo Crew 8″ by 12″ Embroidery Hoop Size Test File to ensure you have the proper hoop to complete this project.) Your downloadable embroidery machine files include the following formats: .dst, .emd, .exp, .hus, .jef, .pes, .vip, .vp3, .xxx. You will complete the applique on Blocks One – Twelve using your embroidery machine. You will complete the applique on Block Thirteen (the center Haunted House) and the Triangles on the Borders using your sewing machine.

When will I be charged for this Block of the Month?
Sign up today to reserve your spot. You will be charged a $1.00 sign up today and will automatically be charged $36.99 on the 3rd of each month. Your first box will ship soon after the 3rd of the month following your signup date. The club renews on the 3rd of each month of each month and ships soon after. This is a 14 month program. The Boo Crew Block of the Month and membership fee are non-cancelable. (Due to high demand, your first kit may experience a delay in shipping on the 3rd of the first month after your reservation date. The rest of your renewals will ship on or soon after the 3rd of each month.)
Is international shipping available?
Unfortunately not. We've suspended our International Shipping due to extreme shipping delays and rising costs.
What size hoop do I need?
You need an 8" by 12" hoop. Smaller will not work. NO REFUNDS are given under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for digital files or memberships such as this one. A Boo Crew 8" by 12" Embroidery Hoop Size Test File download is available for FREE so you can test your embroidery hoop and ensure you have the proper size to complete this project. How do I access my embroidery files each month?
You will receive access within your account on this website to download your embroidery files. You will simply login to your account, click on Memberships and then click on Boo Crew Machine Embroidery Files. This page will contain your zip file for each month as well as a video tutorial. You must know how to unzip a file and load it onto your USB drive or transfer it to your embroidery machine. NO REFUNDS are given under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for digital files or memberships such as this one.
What exactly do I make on the embroidery machine?
You will stitch Blocks 1 - 12 completely in the hoop of your embroidery machine. Block 13 - Haunted House and all of the finishing of your quilt top will need to be appliqued and sewn using your sewing machine. Embroidery Files are only available for Blocks 1 - 12. NO REFUNDS are given under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for digital files or memberships such as this one.
Embroidery File Copyright Notice
The use of the Boo Crew embroidery files is for your personal use only. Copyright infringements will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You may make customizations or changes to the files for your own personal use. You may not share or resell the embroidery files. No support is provided for making changes to the files or for the files after your've made changes for your personal use.
How much backing fabric is needed for the Boo Crew Quilt?
You will need 2 2/3 yards of backing fabric for the Boo Crew Quilt. We recommend Spotted Tangerine 1660 16 by Moda Fabrics.
How will I quilt my quilt?
Great question! You will complete your entire quilt top and then you can choose to quilt your quilt on your sewing machine or longarm, hand quilt, or send your quilt to a longarm quilter. After quilting is complete, you will attach your binding and a hanging sleeve if desired. Please note, this is not a Quilt as You Go project.
Important Note
We ask that you remain a member for the duration of your selected Block of the Month or Club. We ask that you not cancel your membership as we create an entire series of boxes for your project. Your cancellation leaves us with an incomplete Block of the Month Kit or Club that we cannot sell to anyone else. The signup fee in non-refundable. Boxes cannot be returned and are non-refundable.
